01Services
Better systems.
Stronger operations.
From the first acquisition question to the final payment reconciliation. Independent advice and hands-on implementation for licensed casino operators and the technology companies that serve them.
For each project, we agree what I deliver and what your engineering, compliance, and vendor teams own.
01The scope
Player Acquisition
Acquisition can look healthy in a channel report while bonus costs and weak retention eat the margin. If affiliate, CRM, and product teams measure different things, it is hard to know where to invest next.
What I do
- Map acquisition and retention economics by channel and player cohort.
- Audit affiliate terms, attribution, traffic quality, and program controls.
- Review CRM journeys from first deposit through retention, respecting consent and player protection signals.
- Assess bonus costs, eligibility rules, and the behavior each offer encourages.
- Review AI search visibility and the clarity of your public product information.
- Design creative and landing-page tests with clear hypotheses and responsible marketing checks.
What you get
- Acquisition and retention diagnostic with agreed metric definitions.
- Prioritized channel, affiliate, and lifecycle action plan.
- Testing backlog with owners, decision criteria, and reporting requirements.
- Bonus economics review with player protection guardrails.
Typical timeline
Start with a diagnostic of about two weeks. The testing and rollout schedule follows the findings and your team's capacity.
A good fit if
- Your acquisition spend is easier to track than its contribution to margin.
- You need an independent review of affiliates, CRM, or bonus economics.
- You want responsible growth without adding another disconnected channel.
02The scope
AI Automation
Support queues, document checks, and repeated internal questions take time away from work that needs judgment. Adding AI without clear boundaries can make a weak process faster and harder to supervise.
What I do
- Map repetitive tasks and redesign the process before choosing automation.
- Design multilingual support agents with approved knowledge, escalation rules, and human hand-off.
- Set up KYC and document triage assistance while keeping verification decisions with authorized staff.
- Build CRM segmentation and next-best-action assistance with responsible gambling exclusions.
- Route fraud and bonus-abuse signals to people for review, with context and an audit trail.
- Create content workflows with editorial checks and controlled publishing.
- Build internal copilots for payments and support teams, with access limits and evaluation criteria.
What you get
- Use-case roadmap with data access and human oversight requirements.
- Pilot workflow, evaluation set, and escalation playbook.
- Integration specification and monitoring dashboard requirements.
- Team training and an operating guide for ongoing review.
Typical timeline
Allow about two weeks for diagnosis. Pilot and deployment timing depends on knowledge quality, integrations, languages, and the review process.
A good fit if
- Your team repeatedly answers the same operational questions.
- You need multilingual assistance with a clear path to a human.
- You want AI to flag issues, not decide a player's treatment or account outcome.
03The scope
Crypto Payment Processing
A headline processing rate tells you little about the cost of deposits, payouts, and settlement. Switching providers also changes your exposure to custody, liquidity, and operational risk, so security comes before the commercial comparison.
What I do
- Define the requirements and shortlist providers against your markets, platform, and treasury needs.
- Run an RFP covering service scope, support, reporting, and settlement to EUR.
- Compare deposits with and without conversion, payouts, conversion spreads, network fees, and minimums line by line.
- Review custody models, key management, incident history, audits, and insurance evidence.
- Plan and coordinate a proof of concept with two providers against the same acceptance criteria.
- Identify contract points for review, including liability, access to funds, settlement terms, and exit support.
- Build a migration plan covering balances, reconciliation, communications, rollback, and operational ownership.
What you get
- Requirements brief, shortlist, and structured RFP.
- Normalized rate-card comparison with assumptions made explicit.
- Security due diligence record and open-risk register.
- Proof-of-concept findings and a documented selection rationale.
- Contract review checklist and migration runbook.
Typical timeline
The initial diagnostic takes about two weeks. Selection, proof of concept, and migration are scoped around provider responses and your integration readiness.
A good fit if
- You are introducing crypto deposits or replacing an existing processor.
- You cannot explain the gap between quoted fees and actual costs.
- When I advise on choosing a provider, I am paid by the operator only, never by the providers being compared.
04The scope
Crypto Implementation
A successful deposit is only one part of a working crypto payment system. Withdrawals, conversion, liquidity, and reconciliation need to work together, including when a transaction is delayed or a provider is unavailable.
What I do
- Map deposit and withdrawal flows, confirmations, exceptions, and player communications.
- Evaluate custodial, non-custodial, and MPC custody models, including approval and recovery responsibilities.
- Define supported chains and tokens against operational and risk requirements.
- Design auto-conversion and fiat settlement flows, including settlement to EUR.
- Plan payout approvals, treasury access, liquidity monitoring, and funding procedures.
- Specify reconciliation between processor records, the casino platform, and the books.
- Coordinate travel-rule and AML tooling hand-offs with compliance owners, then document cut-over and rollback procedures.
What you get
- Payment-flow diagrams and an integration specification.
- Custody and treasury responsibility matrix.
- Reconciliation rules and exception-handling playbooks.
- Acceptance test plan covering normal and failed transactions.
- Cut-over runbook, rollback criteria, and team handover.
Typical timeline
Begin with about two weeks of discovery and design inputs. Implementation is scheduled around platform access, vendor delivery, compliance review, and acceptance testing.
A good fit if
- You have selected a processor and need the operating model around it.
- Payments work, but exceptions and reconciliation still depend on manual investigation.
- You need clear accountability across engineering, treasury, and compliance.
05The scope
Operational Efficiency
Overlapping tools and unclear hand-offs make small issues expensive to resolve. When reporting describes activity instead of the decisions that need attention, it is difficult to see which process to fix first.
What I do
- Map cost-to-serve and the repeated work behind support and payment exceptions.
- Audit the PSP, CRM, support, and KYC vendor stack for overlap, gaps, and ownership.
- Review payments operations, escalation paths, and reconciliation responsibilities.
- Redesign hand-offs and approval steps before introducing automation.
- Define board reporting around costs, operational risks, and decisions required.
- Assign process owners and establish a practical review cadence.
What you get
- Vendor and process map with cost and risk findings.
- Prioritized simplification plan with accountable owners.
- Operating playbooks for key hand-offs and exceptions.
- Board reporting outline and metric definitions.
Typical timeline
An initial diagnostic takes about two weeks. Process changes and vendor transitions are phased around dependencies and the team's ability to absorb them.
A good fit if
- Your stack has grown faster than your processes.
- Payment and support exceptions keep moving between teams.
- You need a clear operational picture before investing in more tools.
06Ways to work together
Scope first. Format second.
Audit
A fixed-scope review of a defined problem. Interviews, evidence, and a prioritized action plan give your team a sound basis for the next decision.
Project
A defined implementation with agreed deliverables and responsibilities. I work alongside your people and vendors through testing and handover.
Advisory retainer
Ongoing independent input as decisions arise. A regular cadence for reviewing priorities, vendor choices, and operational questions.
07In practice
What an engagement looks like.
Two hypothetical starting points, shaped around the operator.
A multi-brand operator replacing its crypto processor.
We would map each brand's flows and settlement needs, review custody and security evidence, and normalize the rate cards. A comparable proof of concept would inform selection before a phased migration, reconciliation checks, and a documented rollback plan.
An operator automating first-line support in four languages.
We would first review the knowledge base and escalation process, then define what the agent can answer and what must go to a person. The pilot would test language quality, sensitive cases, and hand-off behavior before the team decides whether it is ready for deployment.
08Before we talk
A few practical answers.
Do you work with unlicensed operators?
No. Casino Consultants works with licensed operators and the technology companies that serve them. Responsible marketing, 18+ audiences, and respect for AML/KYC obligations are part of the scope from the start.
Do you take commissions from providers?
No. When I advise an operator on choosing a provider, I am paid by that operator only, never by the providers being compared.
Do you implement or just advise?
Both. An audit can end with a clear plan, or I can work alongside your team and vendors through design, implementation, testing, and handover. We agree on responsibilities before work starts.
Which regions do you work in?
I am based in South Africa and work remotely across Europe, Africa, and Latin America. Requirements are scoped to the operator's licensed markets, including European contexts such as the MGA and Germany's GGL.
How fast can you start?
Email me with the problem, your platform, and any hard deadline. I will confirm availability and what access is needed. Diagnosis is usually about two weeks once the engagement begins; implementation timing depends on scope and dependencies.
How does responsible gambling fit into AI work?
It is a design requirement. Player protection signals must reach the right people, and marketing workflows must respect exclusions and restrictions. AI assists with triage and flags cases for trained human review. It does not make final decisions about players, KYC outcomes, or responsible gambling interventions.
